Top Shelf Lacquer Margarita Time Collection Swatches & Review

Today I have Top Shelf Lacquer on the blog with their upcoming Margarita Time collection. This is my first time working directly with Top Shelf Lacquer, but they have been on the blog once before. Top Shelf Lacquer was in the Summer’s Last Hurrah Box that I posted back in mid August, and I loved her polish that was featured there!

The Margarita Time Collection consists of 7 holographic shades with Margarita names. Let’s jump right in.

Blackberry Margarita

Blackberry Margarita

When I first got Blackberry Margarita, I thought it was a black holographic from just the bottle, but once I put it on I realized it’s actually a gorgeous blackened navy jelly linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Top Shelf Lacquer Margarita Time Overview

Cover

What a beautiful collection and it’s full of colors I adore! Purples, blues and pinks. Most of these are creme based holographics, but both Blackberry Margarita and Pomegranate Margarita are jelly based holographics and the linear holographic effect is much stronger in those 2, but also need 3 coats instead of only 2. All creme based ones required 2 coats.

Application was flawless on all 7 shades and I was able to reach full opacity in 2-3 coats for all 7 shades.

Below is pricing, but I wanted to point out that “mini size” is considered Polish Shots in Top Shelf Lacquers shop and are the size in my photos. It’s an 8ml bottle and actually has a really nice brush for easy application.

Prices Individually: $7.50 Mini Size | $11.50 Full Size

Prices Full Collection: $49.00 Mini Size | $73.50 Full Size

These look so adorable! 8 ml. mini bottles are always so much better than actual mini bottles, and these colors look great.
