The Holo Hookup is gearing up to launch their December 2015 Indie Collaboration Box, and if you loved the November box, you are in for a real treat this month!

If you haven’t heard about The Holo Hookup yet, here is a little info about it – As the name suggests – this is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor to the box and for December it’s Pahlish!

This month’s theme is Natural Phenomenon and here are the pictures that each maker drew inspiration from this month:

Inspiration

You will know which photo inspired which polish as we go through them as well. All 4 makers did an incredible job with this one.

Glisten & Glow Ball Lightning

Ball Lightning

Glisten & Glow Ball Lightning is a gorgeous purple leaning blue linear holographic with pink and purple flakes and shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos

Ball Lightning Up

Ball Lightning Macro

DIFFERENT dimension Bioluminescent Bay

DD Half

DIFFERENT dimension Bioluminescent Bay is a vibrant, medium sky blue holographic base with holographic microglitter mixed in. This has a slightly textured feel because of all the microglitter, but 1 coat of top coat smoothed it out. This also glows a bright blue in the dark! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish Volcanic Lightning

Volcanic Lightning

Cupcake Polish Volcanic Lightning is a beautiful medium red holographic with violet micrglitter laced throughout. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish Chasing Northern Lights

Chasing Northern Lights

Pahlish is the guest contributor to the box for December! This is Chasing Northern Lights and it’s a bronzey taupe strong linear holographic and there is a very subtle green duochrome shift. I took a few extra photos for this polish because the green shift was so subtle, it was hard to capture with my light setup. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sheila from Pointless Cafe captured the shift amazingly well, so make sure you check her review out of Chasing Northern Lights!

The Holo Hookup December 2015 Overview

PicMonkey Collage

This is a nice mix of colors for the December box and the holo is so gorgeous in all of these! I knew from each polish (without looking at the names) which polish drew inspiration from which photograph. I had no application issues with any of these shades.
