I have a new indie brand on the blog today coming straight from Scotland!  Tami Nail Polish sent me their debut collection to share, Scottish Showcase Collection.  The makers behind Tami Nail Polish want their polishes to reflect Scotland and all of it’s beauty, so the polishes in this set are named after Scottish places, and the colors and effects of the polishes are inspired by them as well.

I’ve never been to Scotland, but would love to go one day.  Under each description I have added the makers inspiration for the colors and names.

Skibo Sunset

Skibo Sunset is a magenta holographic and it’s absolutely stunning. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.  This is even more beautiful in person.

Skibo Castle is situated in a secluded corner of Scotland’s eastern highlands, on the shores of the Dornoch Firth where you can spot dolphins, whales and seals and much more, being north scotland the area also gives guests chance to see the northern lights in winter and enjoy late sunsets in the summer, Skibo Castle is home to one of the world’s most prestigious private clubs where gusts are blown away by the luxury scottish castle and its beauty. Skibo’s name is originally Norse, meaning ‘Fairyland of Peace’,

Lady of Lomond

Lady of Lomond comes at you with holographic goodness from all angles.  The base is an icy teal holographic that is almost metallic like and has blue, red and purple holographic micro glitter mixed in.  It twinkles like crazy.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Gleneagles Glamour

Gleneagles Glamour is a princess polish through and through.  It has a beautiful light pinkish lavender holographic base with gold holographic micro glitters.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Gleneagles (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann na h-Eaglais/Gleann Eagas) Gleneagles is a luxury estate/resort In Perthshire scotland and since the early 1900’s has been a place were glitz and glamour of the hotel mix with traditional Scottish past times like golf, horse riding and fishing. If you ever visit Gleneagles im sure your bound to see a celebrity or two around.

For color accuracy, refer to the photos above.  Below is a photo under artificial lighting to show the holo, but the color came out different, but I wanted you to see the gorgeous holo within.

Overview

The debut collection for Tami Nail Polish is beautiful.  All 3 are wearable for me, and I will definitely be doing that.  I had no formula issues at all and I loved reading the inspiration behind each color from the makers.  Beautifully done Tami Nail Polish!
