I have a super holo filled post to share with you this morning. Starlight Polish is rereleasing their holiday collection and it has 14 holos for your enjoyment! Here is Starlight Polish Winter Holodays Collection!

This collection is live now in the shop, so you can start shopping asap. There are 14 polishes total, 12 are solid holographics, 1 is a top coat and 1 can be both a top coat or a solid color holographic.  I hope that made sense? I haven’t had coffee and I’m borderline hangry so … thinking isn’t my strong suit at the moment.

Okay so this is a fairly picture heavy post. We have 14 polishes to look through, so let’s get this going!

Poinsettia

Poinsettia is a cool pink toned red linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Holly Berry

Holly Berry is a warm true red linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Holly Berry and Poinsettia look almost identical at first glance, but there is a subtle difference to them. Poinsettia is a slightly cooler, pink leaning red and Holly Berry is closer to a true red.

Sparkling Bows

Sparkling Bows is a fuchsia leaning red linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Evergreen

Evergreen is a medium pine green linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Spruce

Spruce is a blue toned green linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Winter Skies

Winter Skies is a rich royal blue linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Candle Lights

Candle Lights is a yellow linear holographic. It does have the gold quality to it, but it’s a golden yellow vs a metallic gold. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Golden Rings

Golden Rings is a metallic gold with a very loosely scattered holo effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fireside Glow

Fireside Glow is a warm orange linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My photos pull a touch darker than what this is in real life.

Smoke and Ashes

Smoke and Ashes is a shimmery charcoal grey linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Longest Night

Longest Night is a black linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Silver Bells

Silver Bells is the silver version of Golden Rings. This is a silver metallic shade with a scattering of holo mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Starbright

Starbright is an amped up version of Starlight. Starlight is basically a fairly normal silver holographic linear holographic top coat, and Starbright is a super silver linear holo top coat. Basically using Starbright, it will swallow a lot of the base color and almost tint the topper (if that makes sense?) but it’s more on the opaque side than Starbright is.

For my photos, I chose to use it alone because I love a good silver linear holographic. Here is Starbright with 2 coats and a glossy top coat.

Make It Sparkle

The final polish I will be showing is Make It Sparkle! This is a silver holographic micro fleck top coat to layer over polish. This was initially a limited edition polish, but it’s now available as a permanent shade.

Shown is 1 coat of Make It Sparkle over Cirque Rothko Red.

Starlight Polish Winter Holodays Collection Overview

If you want to complete a rainbow of linear holographic shades, this is pretty much a good place to start. I really love how strong most of these linear holographics are and the formulas were smooth and easy to apply. The bases themselves were mostly jelly like, but still had amazing opaqueness to them.

My Top Picks: Longest Night, Sparkling Bows, Starbright, Winter Skies and Make It Sparkle

Price: $5.25 – $5.75 Mini Size | $11.50 – $12.50 Full Size
