Sinful Colors Summer Neons Swatches and Reviews

I was posting these photos on Facebook and decided to do a blog post about them too so I could have all of these summer goodies in one spot!  I ran into Walgreens on Friday and spotted a new Sinful Colors display and they had NEONS!  I didn’t take time to actually read the names, just grabbed 1 of each (7 total) , paid and left!  Nick was in the car waiting for me, so I didn’t have time to analyze each one!

Once again, I apologize for the picture quality!  I should have my normal camera back this week!

Looking for highlighter yellow for your nails?  Look no further:

Here is a sunlight pic which made it look more pastel, but it really isn’t..

Neon Melon is exactly what you need.  The picture didn’t even capture how bright this is.  I was loosing precious daylight so this is the best I could do while it was on.  Bright Yellow!  I used 3 coats of Neon Melon and then Dazzle Dry top coat for glossiness!  Neon Melon dried to a satin finish.  3 coats seems like a lot to some, but this formula dried QUICK so it didn’t seem too bad!

Highlighter Orange?  Sinful Colors has that covered too:

Direct sunlight picture:

Summer Peach is bright orange.  Not sure why peach is in the name, I saw no peach… this is pretty much dead on for the neon orange spray paint construction teams use.  Again, picture doesn’t show just how bright this really is.  Same as Neon Melon, Summer Peach is a 3 coater with a satin finish.  Super fast dry time and I used a top coat for a glossy look!

Last highlighter shade of the group:

Fusion Neon is just a gorgeous bright pink, this is an outdoor shade picture… it is brighter in the sun! Another 3 coater, satin finish, fast dry time!  Dazzle Dry made this a glossy finish ;)

Now… everyone needs a neon coral in their life!

This is Sinful Colors Pink!  Just ‘Pink’.  No neon or jazzy summer tag with it.  To get to the neon coral goodness I did, use 3 coats and a glossy top coat!  Another satin finish here with quick dry time.

I’m a purple lover, so I had to have a summery purple!  Sadly this isn’t neon like I wanted, but still a gorgeous bright color!

Am I the only one who loves seeing outdoor photos where the light catches and creates the little starburst?  Anyways – this is Dream On.  Not a neon really, but it does still dry to a satin finish quickly.  2 coats this time and topped off with a glossy top coat!

Looking for a shimmery color?

Again, not neon but gorgeous nonetheless!  Cream Pink is a pretty summer pink packed with gold shimmer.  You can see where the sun caught the nail just right on my pointer finger and the shimmer stands out.  Another quick dry, but the finish was a semi glossy finish.  I still used a top coat, but I could have easily gone without!

Kind of sad that this is the last one I have to post.  They needed more colors in this collection *cough*whereistheneonblue*cough*

Irish Green is the final color to round up the Summer Neons.  This was also out for St. Patty’s Day! It’s neon, but not highlighter neon.  Irish Green is a bright jelly polish that took 3 coats.  I have been told it really pops if you use white as a base first, but I wanted to get unaltered shots of the colors.  Dry time wasn’t as quick as the rest, but still not horrible… 3 minutes per coat.  No top coat on this one.

If you are looking for some pretty neon’s from Sinful Colors.. or ANY Sinful Colors, now is the time to do it!  Walgreen’s has ALL Sinful Colors on sale for .99 cents right now.  Usually they are $1.99, so if you miss the sale the price still isn’t bad!

All of your pictures motivated me to get off my rump and head over to buy this collection. They were out of Dream On, but I got the rest! Thank you!

**Quick Tip: These colors look a lot better if you do a white coat underneath.
I always apply Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear “White On” #300 (because it’s thicker than most nail polishes), wait for it to dry, then apply two coats of the neon color I choose. It really makes the colors pop!
