Who’s ready for some softer shades?  Lately it seems I’ve been doing either a lot of neons or a lot of browns and vampy reds for Fall!  The collection I’m about to show you is the Electric Summer collection from Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, and it’s perfect for a beach side mani!

Pearl Up

Pearl Up is a semi sheer milky white crelly with slight pink tones.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos.

Floaties

photo 3 (1)

Floaties is a pale almost neutral peach creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Teeny Bikini

photo 3 (5)

Teeny Bikini is a muted banana yellow creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos and was pleasantly surprised at application.  I usually have trouble with yellows either being patchy, streaky or weird, but this was amazing.

Peach Babe

Peach Babe has a confusing name.  This is actually a really pretty flamingo pink with slight (VERY slight) peach tones.  Very slight.  If you want a peach shade, grab Floaties.  If you want a pretty pink, this is your polish.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

You’re Crabby

photo 3 (4)

You’re Crabby is a dusty light rosy pink creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Kelp Yourself

photo 3 (2)

Kelp Yourself is a slightly dusty mint creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Wet Suit

photo 3 (7)

Wet Suit is a dusty sky blue creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos, and while I loved the color, I had some self leveling issues with this one.  You can kind of see the patchy ripples in the paint job in these photos.

Water Orchid

photo 3 (3)

Water Orchid is a dusty lavender creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.  Like Wet Suit, I had some minor self leveling issues with Water Orchid.  It’s not as noticeable as Wet Suit, but it was there.

Overview

Overall this is a nice collection.  I only had application issues with Wet Suit and Water Orchid, but it really wasn’t that bad.  If you are looking for a nice collection of dusty pastels to compliment your tan this Summer (or what’s left of it!) then you might want to check these out!

Price: $2.99

Where To Buy: Rite Aid, Walgreens & CVS

What did you think?  Is this a nice change from the neons and Fall shades?
