OPI Brazil Collection Swatches and Review

I JUST received the OPI Brazil Collection and I couldn’t wait to get started on it!  I saw teaser photos posted around the internet for a couple months now and was dying to get the polishes!

What I really love about this collection is the variety of shades within it.  OPI covered brights, neutrals, classics and Liquid Sands!   This is a fairly pic heavy post so I’m going to jump right into it!  Each polish shown has top coat over it, except the Liquid Sands.

Samba-dy Loves Purple

I’m kicking this off with the 4 Liquid Sands in the collection!  Up first is Samba-dy Loves Purple!  This is a beautiful violet texture.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

I’m Brazil Nuts Over You

I’m Brazil Nuts Over You is a vibrant matte bright pink.  In LOVE with this one!  I used 2 coats for this photo.

What’s a Little Rain Forest?

Another standout from the Liquid Sands!  What’s a Little Rain Forest? is a gorgeous matte bright blue!  I used 2 coats for this photo.  I didn’t experience any staining with this blue either.

You’re So Flippy Floppy

A. Yellow. I. Can. Wear.  This is a rare occurrence!  You’re So Flippy Floppy is a vibrant yellow matte texture.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Gorgeous right?  Ready for the cremes?  Let’s do this.

Next Stop…The Bikini Zone

Next Stop…The Bikini Zone surprised me.  I was expecting a meh shimmer.  It’s a shimmery violet to pewter duochrome.  I love it!  I have a couple extra photos of this one to show the shift in it.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around

Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around is a light creamy beige.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.  Ignore the dent in the pinkie.  That’s purely user error (and a curious kitty scaring me).

Taupe-less Beach

Taupe-less Beach is a medium taupe creme.  A great palette cleanser.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

I São Paulo Over There

I São Paulo Over There is a dark taupe/mocha shade.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

OPI Scores a Goal!

OPI Scores a Goal! is a dusty burgundy creme.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

AmazON…AmazOFF

AmazON…AmazOFF is a deep jungle green that actually has a subtle shimmer within it!  I did experience a little bit of staining with AmazON…AmazOFF so be careful.  I used 2 coats for this photo.

I Just Can’t Cope-acabana

I Just Can’t Cope-acabana is a super bright yellow creme!  Very fun and sunny shade.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.  I did experience patchiness with the first 2 coats on most of the bright shades.

Where Did Suzi’s Man-go?

Where Did Suzi’s Man-go? is a light mango creme.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Toucan Do It If You Try

Toucan Do It If You Try is a gorgeous coral creme that leans orange.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Kiss Me I’m Brazilian

Kiss Me I’m Brazilian is a vivid cotton candy pink.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Live.Love.Carnaval

Live.Love.Carnaval is a medium hot coral shade.  This is the creme I was dying for in the collection, and it delivered!  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Red Hot Rio

What’s an OPI Collection without a classic red?  Red Hot Rio is a thin red creme.  I used 2 thin coats and this is almost jelly like in look.

Overview

I am in love with this collection.  The mix of shades perfectly balances it all out.  If you aren’t a fan of brights (or aren’t ready for Spring shades yet!) then you have neutrals to fall back on.  The Liquid Sands are outstanding!  All 4 are vibrant and eyecatching.  I did need to use 3 coats for several of the creme shades in this collection, but because the end result was great, I didn’t mind so much.  If I have to work at 3 coats then it better be amazing!  I have to say though, I am still pouting that these Liquid Sands may not be available in full size!  I need them in larger bottles.
