Milani Nail Lacquer Swatches and Reviews – CVS Exclusives!

Today I have some more Milani Spam for everyone!  I was recently sent 10 Milani Nail Lacquers that are exclusive to CVS for Spring of 2012, and they are gorgeous!  Once again Milani has brought out a group of nail lacquers that offer a little something for everyone with amazing coverage, quality and price!

I’m going to keep my chatty self quiet for most of this since there are 10 photos to view!  All photos have 2 coats of polish and are topped off with Milani Top Coat!

On with the Milani SPAM!

U Pinky Swear:

U Pinky Swear is a gorgeous, vibrant bubblegum pink.  Flawless application with a creme finish.  Love this pink!  Girly and fun!

Pink Slippers:

Pink Slippers is a soft pinky peach with a lovely pink shimmer to it.  The first coat of this went on rather sheer, but the second coat still made it come out to a level of opacity I was happy with.

Chocolate Sprinkles:

Look at the amazing shimmer on this bad boy!  I love it!  Chocolate is a deep chocolate brown with “sprinkles” of gold and coppery shimmer throughout.  This color glows on the nail.  I loved it, and I’m not a brown fan!  This will be a go to fall color for sure!

Morning Coffee:

Morning Coffee is another lovely brown shade with a slight tinge of red to it and a creme finish.  I didn’t use a top coat on this one because it came out with such a pretty glossy finish.

Hipster Plum:

Beautiful deep plum! Hipster Plum went on flawlessly and I love this purple!

Fuchsia Fierce:

Fuchsia Fierce is more of a Red to me than it was a Fuchsia.  There is a bright pink tinge to it in person, but the red dominated it more.  Fuchsia Fierce is vibrant and well pigmented!  Another gorgeous summer color!

Natural Touch:

Natural Touch is a soft brown.  A deep nude?  I don’t know why, but this one is hard for me to describe.  I like the color, just not on me.  I will probably use it as a base color for other mani’s but all alone, I don’t think would work.

Pink & Proper:

One of my FAVORITES from this group!  Pink & Proper is a vibrant pinky coral polish with a beautiful burst of pink shimmer throughout.  I think this color would have been fairly boring without that pop of shimmer.  Perfect!

Just Grayt:

Just Grayt isn’t a color I thought I would like, but I actually do.  Just Grayt is a gray creme with a hint of beige in it.  I wouldn’t call it Greige, but I see that little hint in there just enough to make it so that it is not a true gray tone all the way.

A Rose Mylady:

I’m finishing this post off with the “classy” color.  If I had a wedding or engagement to go to and wanted a classic nail look, I would use this color.  A Rose Mylady is a lovely nude pink with a silver sheen.  I was pretty impressed how well the silver sheen translated from the bottle onto the nail, lately I have been disappointed with polishes that couldn’t do this.  A Rose Mylady didn’t let me down!

And that concludes my Milani Spam for today!  I am once again absolutely amazed with the quality of Milani’s polishes especially for the cost.  I know a lot of people who avoid “drugstore brands” because they say they don’t stand up to higher end brands, but I beg to differ.  Milani is a top contender for a fraction of the cost.  Their shades (not just the ones in this post, but in general) cover cremes, shimmers, glitters and even holographics.  Milani definitely doesn’t disappoint!

The polishes in this post are CVS exclusives, and as such, can be found at your local CVS!  They retail for $4.99 a bottle and each bottle is .45 fl oz.

For other Milani colors, check them out at www.MilaniCosmetics.com

I still have a lot more Milani to show you (both polishes AND cosmetics) so keep an eye out for future posts!

Thank you Lani! The shimmer in these are lovely. And they look on the nail just like they look in the bottle

Out of the whole collection, the only one that really grabbed me at the store was Chocolate Sprinkles, but next time they have a coupon/sale I’ll probably grab Hipster Plum, too. It’s really a nice collection, and also a nice change from all the crazy neons everyone is releasing right now.

I’m a fan of purples and Hipster Plum was amazing! I also like that they aren’t going the crazy neon route. I love neons, but it’s all I’m really seeing at the stores right now!
