Mentality Nail Polish Eeny, Meeny, Miny & Moe Swatches and Review

by Lisa Heath

***Added 7/23/15 – please read this announcement ***

If you have purchased from Mentality from April 2015 – June 2015 and you are experiencing sensitivity, itchiness or burning, please contact Mentality directly to have your polishes replaced. Their email is [email protected]

I personally did NOT experience any reactions when using these polishes, but many did. Please know I would have been fully transparent had I known the damage that was being caused. Again, please read the announcement above and by clicking on it, you will be taken to Mentality’s initial statement regarding the issue.

I have more Mentality Nail Polish to show off to you today!   In case you hadn’t noticed, Mentality Nail Polish is one of my all time favorite indie brands!  They have a stunning selection of polish and I have yet to have an issue with any of them!

Today’s post will be part 1 of the Duochrome Stampers Collection.

That’s right.  Duochrome. Stampers.

There are 8 Duochrome Stampers in total, but because of the names I wanted these 4 to have their own post.  I wanted to actually STAMP with these, but I lost my stamper :(  I ordered a new one on Amazon, so as soon as it’s here I will be doing a post to show you the stamping portion of the review ( but you can go to the Mentality Nail Polish page to see some AWESOME examples of their stamping capabilities!)

The Duochrome Stampers can be stand alone nail color (as I will show you!) or stamping polishes.  They are gorgeous, opaque shades – so even if you are as stamper challenged as I am, you can still use these beautiful shades!

Eeny:

Eeny is a light rosy pink shade with a flash of gold and a sprinkling of holographic shimmer.  I used 2 coats for this photo and it’s a lovely neutral shade!

With Flash:

Eeny

Look at the pretty holo effect!

Meeny:

Meeny is a bright green with a gold shift and a very subtle holo scattered within!  Unfortunately I failed and took it off before I took a photo with flash.  This does have the same holo effect as Eeny though!

Look how VIBRANT!

Miny:

Gorgeous right?  Miny is my second favorite of the collection.  Miny is a blue to purple holographic polish.  I used 2 coats for this photo and just LOVE it.  The holo is more apparent in this one than Eeny and Meeny!

LOVE this closeup showing the holo and the shift!

Moe:

My favorite of the 4!  Moe is a purple to pink duochrome with holographic shimmer.  This polish is extremely glowy and just amazing!  I used 2 coats for this photo!

You can see the holo and the duochrome shift in this closeup!  I’ve worn this several times since receiving it and it amazes me every time I put it on!

Once again, an amazing set of polishes from Mentality!  All 4 colors are well pigmented, applied nicely and the fact that they are duochrome/holo stampers is just a bonus! As soon as my stamper comes in, I PROMISE I will post again with stamping samples!

My top picks: Miny and Moe!

Each polish in the Stampers Collection is $7.00 or you can buy any 5 of them for $32.50 (I realize I only showed 4, but the next post will have the rest!)

Mentality Nail Polishes are 3 Free and each bottle has 2 stainless steel mixing balls.
