Mentality The Jelly Collection Swatches & Review

Ready for more swatch spam from Mentality Nail Polish?  I have so many of their new pretties sitting on my desk I couldn’t decide where to start!  Finally I settled on The Jelly Collection!

The Jelly Collection consists of 9 brightly colored jelly shades.  These vibrant hues built to full opacity in just 3 coats, but if you want to play with jelly sandwiches or have a little more VNL – you only need 2 coats.

Tyler

Tyler is a red toned purple jelly.  One of my top picks in this collection.

Kacy

Kacy is a blue toned purple and the deepest shade in the collection.

Rachel

My heart just stopped when I put Rachel on!  Rachel is a bright blue jelly shade.  So vibrant and gorgeous!  Just make sure to use a good base coat, you may experience very light staining.

Nina

Nina is another beauty!  Nina is an aqua jelly shade.  Has a glowy look to it.

Mona

Mona is a medium green jelly shade.  This is a very wearable green for me!

Cara

Cara is a gorgeous golden yellow jelly shade.

Shalon

Shalon is a warm toned orange jelly shade.  Orange is a tricky color for me to wear, but this one works well with my skin tone.

Jennifer

Jennifer is a gorgeous pink with red tones in it.  Another glowy jelly shade!

Jill

Jill is a coral jelly shade. I’m a sucker for coral (almost as much as for purple!) and love this polish!

Overview

Another great collection from Mentality!  I like that these have the squishy look of a jelly but with a buildable opacity of a creme.  All of these photos were taken without top coat and are very shiny on their own.  As I said earlier, it you want more of a jelly sheerness, you can just use 2 coats and still have VNL or even glitter layers between the coats.  All of the shades are incredibly vibrant and fun.
