Maya Cosmetics Swatches and Review

Ready for 3 more lovelies from Maya Cosmetics?  If you don’t remember my previous review for them, check it out HERE.

I have 3 polishes to show you tonight!  One will be available in the store as part of the permanent Maya Cosmetics line, the remaining 2 will be available for pre-order November 15th – November 25th.

Nefarious Aquarius:

Nefarious Aquarius is a gorgeous blue-green holographic polish!  It has the slightest duo chrome added, but its incredibly subtle and offers more of a “glow” than anything.  Stunning polish!  I used 2 coats of Nefarious Aquarius for this mani.  Smooth, easy application, and I LOVE the results!  This one is part of the permanent line for Maya Cosmetics and will retail for $9.00 because of the cost of holo pigment.

The next two polishes I will be showing will be available for pre order between November 15th and November 25th (they are holiday-esque, so Maya Cosmetics wanted people to have to opportunity to buy early in case they wanted for a holiday mani!).  They will ship on December 5th.  These are part of the Crescent City Collection – a New Orleans themed collection!  These will be officially released in January (if you choose not to pre order!)

Treme:

Treme is a neighborhood in New Orleans that is known for its brass bands and mixed culture. Treme is a glitter lovers dream!   It consists of  primarily brassy glitters with small green, pink, blue and silver hex glitters scattered within.  Treme can be used alone, or layered over another color.  I decided to use it alone and I only needed 2 coats to get complete nail coverage!  I topped it off with a thick top coat to smooth the glitters out.

Redemption:

Redemption is for the New Orleans Saints fans and is meant to be worn over a black creme!  I switched it up with alternating nails, and although I know the alternating nails don’t look fabulous, I wanted to show the polish over another color (while still sticking to the Saints colors!) so you could see the glitters within the polish (since the black creme hides it a bit!) Redemption consists of small black glitters, small silver holo glitters, as well as silver and gold hex and square glitter all in a clear base with a bit of gold shimmer added!  It really does look fabulous over black creme polish!  For the black base I used Sinful Colors Black on Black, and for the gold base I used Zoya Ziv.

Again, Treme and Redemption will not officially be on the site until January, but if you would like them for the holidays, you can pre order them between November 15th – November 25th (and they will ship out on December 5th!).

All 3 of these polishes were just as wonderful as the first set of Maya Cosmetic Nail Lacquers I swatched!  Great application, great coverage and no issues!

Make sure you check out Maya Cosmetics on her Facebook Page as well as on Twitter.

Maya Cosmetics Nail Lacquer retails for $8.00 per bottle (except the holographic polishes, those retail for $9.00) and can be found on her shop page HERE

Hope you loved these swatches!  I can’t wait to see more from Maya Cosmetics!  Truly amazing creations <3

How close is Nefarious Aquarius to A England’s St. George? It looks a teensy bit bluer and lighter than St. George, but it’s hard to tell on my monitor how close the color is to real life.

Is New Orleans a sandy glitter like Fairy Cake?

St. George is a deeper green in comparison. Treme is a gritty glitter like Fairy cake, so would need 2 coats of good top coat to smooth out

My son has recently become more entertained with his ears, and sticking anything he finds in them (like an oral thermometer, pencil, etc.) Luckily, he hasn’t poked his eardrum out yet and usually is redirected pretty easily. Doesn’t sound like its to the intensity of your DD, have you called her pediatrician to ask about it? I figure with my son we’ve been working on naming all of our body parts and hes just become more aware of them and likes testing his motor skills to see what he can aim up, but if shes doing it in her sleep it might be something else. fake oakleys sale
