L’Occitane en Provence Cerisier Rouge Eau Intense Review

by Lisa Heath

Purchased By Me

It’s tax season for me right now which usually means overtime, which of course means extra cash in my account.  This is usually when I start purchasing new brands to try and splurge a little more than usual.

One brand I have been dying to try was L’Occitane and I am so glad I did.  I made a fairly large purchase online (which was a gamble.. I’ve never tried their products before) and I made amazing choices.

Today I am showing my favorite fragrance from my purchase, L’Occitane Cerisier Rouge Eau Intense.

Loccitane

I originally added L’Occitane en Provence Cerisier Rouge Eau Intense to my cart figuring a cherry blossom scent was safe.  I actually bought both cherry blossom scents they carried (I’ll be showing you the other one soon!)

L’Occitane en Provence Cerisier Rouge Eau Intense is a perfect mix of fruit and floral.  Neither are overpowering and the scent isn’t too strong or too sweet.  It’s definitely interesting and intriguing with top notes of cherry blossom, lemon, orange and blackcurrant and once it dries down you catch raspberry and wild lily of the valley.

My only issue is that it only lasts about 4 hours on me if I apply to my skin, so I started spritzing it on my skin and my hair.  Applying a spritz or two to my hair seems to help the scent linger for almost double the time.

Loccitane 2

This has definitely become one of my favorite scents.  It’s feminine, flirty, crisp and is perfect for Spring and Summer.  I’ll definitely be purchasing more.

The bottle is also simple yet beautiful.  It’s a red to pink gradient glass bottle with a raised cherry blossom design and a silver aluminum cap.

Price: $55.00 for 1.7 fl oz bottle

Where To Buy: L’Occitane Website

I purchased 2 other fragrances plus some body products and I’ll have those reviews up soon.  I just wanted to show my favorite purchase first.

I’ve always liked most of L’Occitane scents, especially Peony.

Oh my gosh, just the bottle itself is gorgeous! And the fruit + floral combo sounds perfect.

I love the look and sound of cherry blossoms, but I would have no idea what the scent smells like. Unfortunately, fruits and florals don’t last on me either. But you’ve definitely piqued my interest. I’ve gotta check this out next time I’m at the mall.

There’s a L’Occitane store at the mall I sometimes go to and I love seeing all their gorgeous products.
