It’s a Barielle Dotticure Day!

It’s a Barielle Dotticure Day!

Happy Saturday!  It’s time for another weekend collaboration with an AMAZING group of bloggers.  I love that they set this all up!  This weekend it’s “dotticure” weekend.

I have 3 Barielle polishes I have wanted to try out for awhile and when this came up I knew the 3 colors would look gorgeous together so I went for it!  I used Barielle Buddha-ful as the base (I used 3 coats), then I dotted with Grape Escape first and Elated after.  Then I topped the whole thing off with my HK Girl Top Coat from Glisten & Glow to make it SHINE!

If you don’t have Buddha-ful, you need to go grab it.  Gorgeous pale pinky nude with green iridescent flakes in it.  Having this as the backdrop for Grape Escape (beautiful medium purple) and Elated (a bright, cheery coral) was perfect!  Pure love.

Here is my dotticure:

What do you think?  Nail Art isn’t my strong suit, but I do try, and I was actually really happy with this.  I don’t plan the dots out either really, I just start jabbing my nail randomly with my dotting tools and say “Voila!” when done.  Sometimes it works in my favor, sometimes it doesn’t.

Make sure you check out all the wonderful bloggers who participated in the Dotticure Weekend Mani!

Love the contrast of the stong colours over the subtle base!

Have you tried Elated as a main on its own? Is it a neon or just really bright? I’ve become obsessed with having really bright and cheerful colors on my fingers!

I haven’t used it on its own yet. It’s not a neon, but it is bright and its a creme finish!

Sigh. Autocorrect is annoying. I meant to ask if you have used Elated as a mani.
