Guest Post: Foil Nail Art Accent With The Mani Café

by Lisa Heath

Hi everyone, I’m Michaela from The Mani Café! I’m happy to be guest posting over here today for Lisa while she is away!

I have a stunning polish to show you today. This is Colors by Llarowe Mighty Red Baron. This gorgeous red was released as part of the CbL Spring 2014 collection. Right after seeing the first promo shots of this polish, I knew I had to have it.

It’s a super saturated, cool-toned holographic red which glows from within. This colour was tricky to photograph because it made my camera freak out.

The formula and application were fantastic. I had no issues whatsoever and used 2 buttery coats. I then created the design on my accent finger with gold nail foil by using the foil glue to paint the design I wanted, applying the foil then outlining the foil stripes with black acrylic paint and a fine detail brush.

I finished everything off with a coat of topcoat. The topcoat didn’t affect the intensity of the polish at all and it was no less holographic.

I ended up wearing this manicure for about a week because I loved it so much. What do you think of this colour?
