GlitterDaze Back To Rad Collection Swatches & Review

Press Sample

GlitterDaze is at it again and has a beautiful collection releasing on October 23rd! This collection is the Back To Rad collection and brings back so many memories from my teenage years! The collection is named Back To Rad and consists of 13 shades – mostly cremes! GlitterDaze threw together a nice palette of colors to play with and some glitters to add some sparkle.

Let’s take a look! Under each photo I’ll give the inspiration behind the polish name (for those who may not know… but I’m sure it will spark memories for a lot of you!)

Away Message

Away Message

Inspired by all those late night chat sessions on AIM, and using song lyrics as your away message to let all your friends know how you felt!

Away Message is a cool toned heather purple crème. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspired by eardrum busting jam sessions we all had in our bedrooms, whether it was to Britney, BSB, or Nirvana!

Boombox is a deep black jelly loaded with silver holographic shimmers and glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mom Jeans

Inspired by an unfortunate fashion trend usually donned by moms.

Mom Jeans is an ironically beautiful azure blue crème shade. It’s actually got a touch more purple in person but my camera was dead set on making it more blue. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Spice Up Your Life

Inspired by the ultimate girl band of the 90’s, the Spice Girls. Won’t even lie. I was stuck in traffic on the way home and listened to Spice Girls as a pick me up.

Spice Up Your Life is a berry pink crème shade. This is more ‘berry’ in person, but for some reason my camera wouldn’t pick it up as well. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

GlitterDaze Fall 2015

I loved the names selected for the shades within this collection. The cremes applied beautifully and will make amazing base colors for nail art and glitter for the entire Fall season. I like that the focus was mainly on cremes, but GlitterDaze added in some glitters for fun.

I love ’em all but for me the standouts are Boombox Lewinsky Y2K Bomb Dot Com and Grunge. Glad to learn about GlitterDaze, clearly a brand I need to try

I honestly love all of the colors. Mom jeans is my favorite… I’m a mom, but my jeans definitely do not reflect that.

I really love the glitters that GlitterDaze makes. I admit, I don’t buy a lot of Indie cremes because there are so many affordable drugstore cremes out there, but some of these are tempting!
