Sandy Claws

Sandy Claws

Sandy Claws is a light nude holographic with pink and purple shimmer. This is an incredibly elegant holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Love Your Elf

Love Your Elf

Love Your Elf is a soft muted pink creme with silver shimmer laced throughout. This is such a soft and classic shade that applied beautifully with 2 coats and a glossy top coat.

Don’t Tangle Your Tinsel

Dont Tangle Your Tinsel

Don’t Tangle Your Tinsel is a clear base with densely packed holographic silver glitter in multiple sizes. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. There is a VERY light texture to this polish, but I used Girly Bits Glitter Glaze to top it off and got a completely smooth finish.

Blazing Yule Before Us

Blazing Yule Before Us

Blazing Yule Before Us is a vintage gold metallic polish. The base is almost jelly like with matching shred glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. The finish is completely smooth with 1 coat of top coat.

Little Red Toque

Little Red Toque

Little Red Toque is a classic Christmas red jelly base loaded with gold holographic microglitter that gives off an amazing sparkle. The opacity for this polish is surprisingly good considering the jelly base, but gave my photos the look like it was more of a creme, and it isn’t. In person the glitters twinkle a lot more and really pop against the squishy finish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jiminy Christmas

Jiminy Christmas

Jiminy Christmas is an evergren holo microglitter polish in a matching evergreen jelly base. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

No Peeking Till 7AM

No Peeking Till 7AM is a vampy burgundy wine crelly. Beautiful application and I received full opacity in 2 coats and a glossy top coat.

Blue Christmas is a beautiful navy creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Coal Dancer

Coal Dancer

Coal Dancer is a black jelly base with multiple sizes of black and silver holographic glitter mixed in as well as sapphire blue and purple holo glitters. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat. The glitters are really densely packed, so I do suggest thin coats so the glitters don’t bunch up on you and you can get smooth, even coverage.

Girly Bits Cosmetics Holiday Magic Collection Overview

PicMonkey Collage 1

I will admit that I was a little surprised when I first opened my Girly Bits Holiday box. In comparison to a lot of her creations around the holiday, this is a very subdued collection, but I do like the classic approach she took with Megan Edwards. There are still some shades within the collection like Coal Dancer and Don’t Tangle Your Tinsel that remind me of past collections, but with shades like Love Your Elf and Sandy Claws, it gives more neutral shades to add in that still fit with the season.

I had no application issues with any of these shades, and my only caution is to apply Coal Dancer in thin layers for a smooth finish.

Price: $13.oo CAD Each ($9.78 USD) | $108.00 CAD Full Collection ($81.21 USD)
