Girly Bits Border Patrol Latex Nail Art Barrier Review

Girly Bits has released her version of the latex nail art barrier product and it’s called Border Patrol! I decided to try it out today since I also recently received some Bundle Monster stamping goodies.

I messed with a 4th of July mani to try this out.  I wasn’t happy with the mani itself, but Border Patrol certainly did it’s job!

Border Patrol is a white latex product and once dry – it’s still white.  I used SinfulColors Snow Me White as my base for my nails, but it basically blends with the Border Patrol product so it ends up looking like I dunked my nails in white paint.

For this mani I used Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-S101.  To up the mess factor a little I attempted my first double stamped mani.

Here’s the stamping damage.  Look at all the cleanup I avoided!

One more closeup look just because!

Then I peeled off Border Patrol…

Done

I did absolutely no cleanup for this mani! Border Patrol came up clean and my cuticles and surrounding skin was completely clean. Quick, easy and mess free.

Border Patrol is made with latex, so if you are allergic, that’s going to be a no-go for you.

Price: $3.98

The red and blue kind of looks like old 3D, a neat effect actually…I like the finished look! I am so glad to see all these options for this type of product! I just had to have purple latex so I bought it from amazon and bottled myself, which was more costly and messy…at least latex is easy to peel off the bathroom sink counter when it dries! :D

A woman in a group I’m in said it reminded her of a Spirograph design, which I can agree with! I love the different products like this coming out. I really love this one and also the Color4Nails one because it has the thin detail brush. Both are good for different aspects of nail art!

I love the name as well! And I don’t know – I like it – but it wasn’t how I pictured it in my mind lol
