Tonight on the blog I have another Girly Bits shade to share with you, and it’s another one of her amazing blogger collaboration polishes!  This is Defying Gravity and it’s in celebration of Phyrra‘s 7 year blogging anniversary (wow!)

Before I get into this, I wanted to say a couple things.  When I started blogging, there were a few blogs I followed and Phyrra was one of them.  I was always in awe of the fact that she can pull off and completely rock almost any color she puts on.

About 6-8 months ago I actually asked her a quick question in private messages and found that she truly is one of the sweetest and most down to earth person I’ve ever come across. She’s incredibly genuine and over time we’ve chatted more in private messages and she’s someone who I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten the chance to know her a bit.

She’s also cause my bank account some harm, especially when it comes to Urban Decay products, but I won’t hold that against her… completely.

Ok let’s move onto her Girly Bits collaboration polish.. it’s truly a stunner.

Defying Gravity

Defying Gravity

Defying Gravity is a gorgeous bright purple, loaded with turquoise shimmer and a sprinkling of holographic sparkle. I used 2 coats for these photos and Girly Bits Glitter Glaze as a top coat.

Phyrra’s tagline on her blog is Beauty For The Bold, and this polish definitely fits in with that.  It was heavily influence by her logo, but when I first saw it, I thought of her hair!

Defying Gravity Macro

The sprinkling of holo and turquoise are the perfect balance.  Neither over each other, and they certainly don’t overpower the purple base.  It’s a perfect balance.

This is the perfect nail polish to describe Phyrra – and I love it. I agree that she is one of the most relatable bloggers I’ve known (besides yourself!) and has always been kind and helpful to me, personally.
