Bonapiel Spot Cream Review

by Lisa Heath

At almost 32 (eep!) I’m still hunting for great skin care items.  I’ve found a few HG products, but nothing that really covers everything.  Got my moisturizer? Check. Something to help dark and tired eyes? Check.  Exfoliator? Check.  Something to reduce redness, acne scarring or bruising?  …. hmm nope.

Bonapiel

That’s where Bonapiel Spot Cream comes in.

I don’t have much acne scarring, but I do still have breakouts on occasion.  Some of which come up angry, nasty and red.  Luckily when I received Bonapiel 3 weeks ago I had the perfect opportunity to test it out since I was recovering from a breakout.

Now I’m a little mad at myself because I did have before and after pictures… but since I use an iPad mini for my pictures – it can only hold 2,200 photos.  Well my photos were full up and it was time to delete some, and I deleted them on accident and cannot recover them :(

Anyways .. on with the review!

Bonapiel pimp

Bonapiel Spot Cream has a convenient pump applicator that dispenses the right amount for 1 use each time.  I found that 1 pump covered my face if I did more than just a spot treatment.

I started right away with applying a thin layer of Bonapiel Spot Cream and within 12 hours the redness had gone away almost entirely, the skin felt softer and the blemish was gone in 3 days (mine usually stick around for 5-6 days).  It has now been a few weeks and I’m breaking out less, my skin is more even (no patchy redness) and it’s definitely softer!

Overview

I will continue to use Bonapiel Spot Cream for awhile longer to see if it’s a coincidence my skin has behaved lately or if it’s the product’s doing.  I’m stopping use for a week and seeing what happens (I’ll update you on it too!)  So far though, I’m very pleased with this product!  The only “con” I’ve found is that the smell isn’t the best.  It isn’t rancid, but it’s sour to me.  The scent does fade quickly though, so I can deal with it.

Price:  $35.00
