Tomorrow Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer will be releasing The Fan Favorites collection! The Fan Favorites collection consists of 8 shades previously released by Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer that her fans voted on in early March and then there will be 2 new shades in the collection! The 2 new shades are Fierce & Free which was in the Design-a-BEGL Contest Winner’s polish and Siren’s Birthday Sprinkles, the polish created to celebrate BEGL’s 2nd year in business!
I’m a little frenzied at the moment. I have my packages shipped to my work (so things aren’t stolen off my porch!) and USPS attempted delivery on Saturday while the business was closed, so I didn’t actually get these until today. I got off work at 5pm, got home at 6:15 and here we are now at 9:38!
Ok let’s jump into the post! We will start with the Fan Favorites from the March voting – and then at the bottom we will look at the 2 new shades.
Untrodden Snow
Untrodden Snow is a gorgeous white creme with blue flash and blue shimmers. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Sordid End
Sordid End is a periwinkle creme with blue to purple shifting shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Wanna Fall In Love Tonight
So I had to pull a photo of Wanna Fall In Love Tonight from a previous post. I reviewed this back in January and when I was searching for it for this post… I realized my mother was borrowing it along with a few other purples I own, so I do apologize for the old photo.
Wanna Fall In Love Tonight is a purple creme with glowing red shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I Still Adore
I Still Adore is an orchid pink holo with gold to pink shift. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fare the Wind
Fare the Wind is a purple holo with blue to purple shift and red shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Cherry Blossom
Cherry Blossom is a baby pink creme with aqua to silver shift. I had a slight self leveling issue with this particular shade. Nothing too horrible, but it was there. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Monster’s Tea at Tiffany’s
Monster’s Tea at Tiffany’s is a Tiffany blue with green to red shifting shimmers. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bound to the City Life
Bound to the City Life is a dark blue toned teal jelly with teal, turquoise, purple, and blue holo microglitters. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Fierce and Free
Fierce and Free is a medium orange red jelly packed with gold, orange, red, and berry pink holo and metallic microglitters and small glitters and pink to gold shifting glass flecks. Based off of the Design a BEGL contest winner’s photo here. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Siren’s Birthday Sprinkles
Siren’s Birthday Sprinkles is a clear base with sky blue holo, navy holo, royal blue and Canadian blue glitters with blue microflakies. I used just 1 coat over Untrodden Snow for these photos. Glitter distribution was perfect!

If you missed out on any of these shades previously, this is your chance to grab them again so you don’t want to miss it. The only one I had a slight issue with was Cherry Blossom and that was a self leveling issue, but it was minor. I had great application with the other 9 shades.

These shades will only be available for pre-order for a 24 hour window! Once that window is up – that’s it! Some leftover stock will be added to the shop at a later date, but that’s only for shades that HAVE leftover stock – so I suggest you don’t take a chance on that!

Well I can see why these won as the fan favorites! I Still Adore is my favorite I think…if I HAD to choose one :p I don’t own any polishes from BEGL and if I had any money I would probably snag a few!
I can’t pick a favorite because all of these are absolutely gorgeous!! I mean the depth of the jellies, the bling of the holos and the gloss of the cremes are always spot on with Julies polishes!! Just awesome!

I love Fierce and Free and Bound to the City Life the most, they are so sparkly! But the lighter tones are beautiful too, esp. for wedding manis, hmmz very interesting ;)
