Have you tried any of the Barry M Gelly shades before?  This is actually my first time using them… and I can’t believe I’ve never purchased them before!

I have 4 Barry M Gelly shades to show you today in a nice range of colors.  One thing I wanted to say though is that this whole time I thought Gelly would be a jelly polish line.  It’s not.  Gelly is actually more in line with gel like finishes (creme but incredibly glossy) with amazing opacity.  If you already knew this – sorry, but I wanted to point it out for those who may not have (like me!)

Blue Grape

Blue Grape

If you can only get 1 Barry M Gelly shade, get Blue Grape.  This is the most perfect blue I have ever come across.  Incredibly vibrant and bold.  Blue Grape is a cobalt blue creme with an incredible gel like shine.  I used 2 coats for these photos.  I did not experience staining either (rare for blues like this!)

Satsuma

Satsuma

Satsuma is a vibrant red leaning orange creme.  Oranges are very hit or miss on my skin tone, but this one is actually a great shade.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Rose Hip

Rose Hip

Rose Hip is an incredible pale baby pink.  If you aren’t into stark white bases, this is a good alternative. It’s pale enough without being blinding.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Papaya

Papaya is my second favorite of the 4.  Papaya is a muted, dusty coral shade.  It has a hint of vibrancy but not as much as other shades like it that I own.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Overview

I have heard about Barry M shades since I started blogging, but usually from blogs overseas.  I have seen them in blog sales a few times, but again, from overseas and the shipping cost usually isn’t an amount I want to pay.  Now that I have tried them though, they are actually pretty worth it. AND on top of that, I know that a US distributor carries it, so it’s much easier for me to purchase with US shipping prices.

The application was amazing and they are glossy on their own, but I used top coat for all of these photos.

My favorite was Blue Grape for sure, but all 4 shades were gorgeous and I’m sure I’ll be buying plenty more Barry M’s now that I have gotten a taste for them.

Price: $8.00 Each
