365 Days of Color – Color Changing Polish Collection – Swatches and Review

by Lisa Heath

Are you ready for some glitter filled, color changing polishes?  Then 365 Days of Color has you covered!

I have a new collection to show you tonight that is really well done and absolutely lovely!   This collection consists of 4 polishes, all with different colored bases that change to a white base when they warm up!  If you have longer nails like I do, a lot of times you will get a “funky french” look where the base of your nails heat up turning the polish white, but the tips stay colored!

It’s been really chilly out here, more than I am use to!  I do most swatching at night when I am off of work, and my hands have been popsicles!  In order to capture the color change for this blog post I had to run my nails under hot water, so the drips on my hands and the “wet” look is due to that!

Ready for these lovelies?

Ice Queen:

I’m going to kick this off with my favorite of the group – Ice Queen!  Ice Queen is a pretty pale blue creme base with blue glitter shreds throughout.  When it heats up though.. the base turns to a milky white with the slightest blue tinge.  I used 3 coats for this mani.

See the difference?  Beautiful!

Assort-mint:

Assort-mint is a pretty pale mint polish with small mint colored glitter throughout.  When cold, you get this lovely mint color.  When warm it turns to a white base with a slight minty tinge to it. I used 3 coats for this mani.

Glitter Princess:

Glitter Princess is a pale pink crelly base with a colorful mix of blue, white, red and turquoise square and hex glitter mixed in.  When Glitter Princess warms up it turns to a white base.  I used 3 coats for this mani.

Crazy in Love:

Crazy In Love is the most subtle of all the color changing polishes.  This one has a pale pinkish lavender creme base with turquoise, violet and purple shreds.  When cold the base turns a milky white.  I used 3 coats for this mani as well!

I am a huge fan of color changing polishes!  These are the first that I’ve used with glitters in them as well and they are beautiful!  I love that all the bases turn to a milky white version of the originals, so for those of you who love the milky bases like I do – this set is PERFECT for you!

I don’t know why I haven’t yet invested in any 365 Days of Color polishes but I love them all! These polishes in particular are typically the colors I like. My favorite is “Ice Queen”!
